DUBAI – Dubai residents who love early morning workouts now have more reason to step outdoors. Dubai Municipality has introduced significant changes to the city’s parks, including earlier opening hours and a set of new names for several community favourites.
These initiatives aim to enhance usability for morning fitness fans and strengthen the identity of each neighbourhood.
Early hours
For the first time, jogging tracks in 20 residential parks now open daily at 5 AM, a notable change from last year’s timings. Fitness enthusiasts can enjoy a quiet and energising start to the day in parks such as:

- Al Barsha Second 1, 2, and 3 Parks
- Ghadeer Al Tair Pond Park (formerly Al Quoz Pond Park)
- Al Satwa Park
- Al Quoz First Park
- Umm Suqeim Park

- Al Qusais Pond Park → Al Twar Pond Park
- Oud Al Muteena First Park → Al Muteena Fourth Park
- Al Qusais Third Park → Al Twar Fourth 1 Park
